Current status matters
At this development checkpoint, independent qualified clinical reviewers have not yet been assigned across the clinical acquisition layer. Clinical and conditional routes that require that clearance remain governed and noindex. We do not convert that missing review into a trust badge.
What needs clinical review
Qualified review is required before DesperateMinds publicly promotes content that could materially influence health decisions, including condition pages, symptom interpretation, treatment guidance, screening tools, crisis-adjacent guidance, youth clinical content and other high-impact mental-health claims.
General educational content can still require careful evidence without being a clinical page. The key question is the consequence of being wrong, not simply whether a psychology term appears.
Clinical release gate
- Authoritative evidence and current guidance are identified.
- The exact wording, scope and limitations are checked for diagnostic or treatment overclaim.
- For named instruments, version, scoring, intended population and current reproduction or use rights are documented.
- Safety and crisis language is reviewed where relevant.
- Privacy and data-minimization behavior is checked for the product flow.
- Age, population, cultural and geographic limits are made explicit.
- A qualified reviewer with relevant scope completes a documented review.
- The page displays the reviewer and review date only after that review actually occurred.
Reviewer requirements
A reviewer must have credentials and professional scope relevant to the content being reviewed. We will not use a general credential to imply expertise in a specialty outside that person's scope. Where licensure is relevant, verification should use the appropriate official licensing source rather than a biography alone.
Review labels and dates
“Clinically reviewed,” “medically reviewed,” or similar wording is page-specific. A general relationship with a professional does not allow DesperateMinds to place that label across content the person did not review.
Review dates represent a real completed review. Publication or modified dates are separate and are not substituted for a clinical-review date.
Clinical screeners and concern checks
A screening result is not a diagnosis. Validated screeners must preserve the correct instrument/version, scoring, population and interpretation. Original DesperateMinds concern checks must not borrow the name, authority or severity language of a validated instrument they are not using.
Basic clinical result interpretation, safety information and urgent-help guidance remain free. Clinical risk is not used as a paywall trigger.
Current development status
The development site contains clinical routes for architecture and testing, but several remain intentionally outside acquisition search until rights, reviewer, safety, youth or claims gates are cleared. This is deliberate governance, not an SEO error.
When clinical content is reviewed again
Re-review can be triggered by new professional guidance, instrument changes, changes to safety resources, a material correction, a change in product logic or a substantial rewrite. A prior review does not permanently validate future changes.
